Fourteen years ago I moved to Listowel from Kitchener. Now I’m running for town council as a way to show that I am committed to being a part of this community and helping it continue to succeed and grow.
I was looking for ways to give back and to get more involved locally and I’m on the Committee of Adjustment and the Property Standard Committee for North Perth. I’ve spent the last 25+ years working in industrial, commercial and institutional construction and I’m a senior estimator for the specialty contracts division of a large RICI contracting firm.
In my spare time I enjoy riding my motorcycle with my trusted canine companion through the streets of Listowel. I host a weekly online music group for seniors or those who are socially isolated and I published my first book two years ago.
I hope to be able to put my knowledge and skills to good use and I plan to focus on addressing issues such as infrastructure, sustainable growth and social support services within the community.
